Engineering Banquet – Celebrating 100 Years of Engineering Education
2025 marks 100 years of engineering education in KwaZulu-Natal, with the first three graduates in engineering graduating from the Natal University College in 1925. Today, UKZN’s School of Engineering confers approximately 300 Undergraduate and Postgraduate degrees per annum. To mark this historic centenary milestone, UKZN’s School of Engineering will be holding a Gala Banquet, to which alumni, staff, research and industry partners are invited.
